PrestaShop Installation
The data required to install PrestaShop:
1. FTP server address
2. FTP user login and password
3. MySQL database name
4. MySQL database username and password
1. Your FTP server address you will find in "My Hosting" section.
2. Your FTP user login and password you will find in our hosting control panel. For more details about FTP users management refer to the article "How to create/edit/delete FTP user".

Now that you have all the necessary data to install PrestaShop on the server you may begin the installation:
1. Download the latest version of PrestaShop from the site http://www.prestashop.com/en/download
2. Unzip it and save the files in a separate folder on your computer.
3. Connect to the FTP server using FTP client program, e.g., FileZilla.
4. Upload all the content from PrestaShop folder to the FTP server.
5. Open web-browser and enter site address where you are installiing PrestaShop, t.g., http://www.yourdomain.lv
6. Choose installation language in the first step and click "Next" button.
7. Read and agree to the PrestaShop license agreement, click "Next".
8. On the page "Database Configuration" page enter Database server address: localhost, enter your MySQL database name, MySQL username and password. Choose Database Engine: InnoDB. Leave the default table prefix and press "Test database connection" button. Click "Next".
9. Enter your shop information and admin account information. Click "Next" button to complete the installation.
10. Delete the "install" folder from FTP server.
Open your new online shop http://www.yourdomain.lv in web browser.
Open http://www.yourdomain.lv/admin for PrestaShop administrator backend.
Your first PrestaShop online shop is ready to go live!
